A Different Way to Learn What you Need to Know to Take Care of Your Whole Self
The audio files offered by Healththyself.org have been recorded at various Boston area hospitals and medical centers, educational venues, nursing conferences or as professional continuing education offerings. The courses vary in length, as well as subject focus. While the information is grounded in evidence-based science, the experience of how we can learn and understand information is offered from a unique model of Whole Health Education®, developed by the National Institute of Whole Health and hospital researched, for the past 50 years ago.
Like many classic works - novels, songs, movies, art work, architecture and a universe of creative items - the information contained in these courses is enduring and classic, and known as “Evergreen” because the presentations and information are timeless.
Some of the courses have been recorded very recently, while others may have been recorded sometime over the past 12 years, are all relevant and timely. The majority of the courses are approximately 90 minutes long, although several can run just over an hour and others can be listened to for under 120 minutes. Just a handful can run just over an hour. But it is not the quantity of the running time , but rather it is the quality.
These courses are for individuals looking to integrate and understand how everything is connected to everything else in their body and their lives - and how health and wellness is so much more than just what you eat, how you exercise or what you think about life. We invite you to listen to excerpts from 6 audio courses before purchasing, to see if this style of learning is for you.
